Music has the ability to act as the soundtrack of your life. Music helps you get through the good times and the bad, all the while telling a story you can relate to no matter what your mood.
Since your wedding is a day you will want to remember for the rest of your life, the song you choose for your first dance will be one that you will never forget. So ladies, do tell, what was or will be your wedding song?

Ralph Lauren
Lonestar's song Amazed
1Either Everlong by the Foo Fighters (the acoustic version), or By Your Side by Sade.
2I am not married but I want By Your Side-Sade
3My husband's and my song was 'Save The Best for Last', the Vanessa Williams version.
4we danced to "everything i do" by bryan adams...i picked it because i wanted one that i knew our band could sing, but they ended up just playing the CD, so i was kind of irritated. if i knew they were going to do that, i would have picked a different song. oh well!
5we had "it might be you" aka tootsie theme by stephen bishop
6Fade Into You by Mazzy Star
7Lonstar's song Amazed was our song too. We got married in 99, and the song was playing when we shared our first kiss earlier that year. It's still the ring tone when he calls me. I can't hear that song without remembering those steamy kisses we shared when we were stranded on the roadside during an early spring blizzard.
8"call me irresponsible", sung by either frank sinatra or michael buble... we will most likely be dancing to that song come january
9"Love of my Life" by Jim Brickman. My husband dedicated it to me in the car once and told me it made him think of me. So we used it!
10At Last by Ella Fitzgerald - I have always loved this song.
11"Unforgettable" by Natalie and Nat "King" Cole.
12We didn't have dancing at our reception (we were broke and could only afford a smaller reception with coffee and wedding cake), but we exited the church to "The One I Love" by David Gray...totally untraditional but perfect!
13I'm not married, but the bf and I were just talking about that at a wedding the other day...I'm thinking All I Want is You by U2, because it gives me goosebumps everytime I hear it. I'll have to run it by him.
14My Husband and I danced to Brian McKnight's (who happens to be in my husbands family, I think a third cousin?) "Love of my Life"
15"The Luckiest" by Ben Folds
16Purplesugar, I love "The Luckiest"!
17This only applies if it's my bf that i marry:
"Heart of Gold" by Neil Young or "Us and Them" by Pink Floyd. I know it's totally untraditional, but those two songs are ALWAYS on the radio when we're cuddling or in the car.
18"Come Away With Me" by Norah Jones
19To Make You Feel My Love by Garth Brooks
20I remember someone mentioning "So this is Love" from Cinderella. I thought that would be a cool wedding song.
21"Bless the Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts
22"At Last" by Etta James. The song said everything we were feeling. Love the oldies.
23"From This Moment" the Shania Twain/Bryan White version. It fit us perfectly.
24"Set The Night to Music" by Maxi Priest if I am remembering correctly.
25OMG lms, I used to love that song! I haven't heard it in a zillion years. That is a classic.
If I had married the guy I was engaged to, the song would have been "Over the rainbow/Wonderful World" by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole.
If I had married my last boyfriend it would have been "Northern Sky" by Nick Drake.
If I marry my current BF it will probably be "Such Great Heights" by Iron and Wine or "Shelter of your Eyes" by Don Williams.
I love music.
26At Last by Etta James...my husband sang it to me when i walked down the aisle...me sooo in luv!
27pop, you're making me laugh with your variety of wedding songs. All good choices!
28I know this is completely untraditional and not even that famous but, if my boyfriend and i end up getting married, i really want "Is this Love" by Bob Marley. it completely describes our relationship, both for my bf and me.
29especially the "we'll share the shelter of my single bed" part. hehe. nothing more romantic than being broke and in love, right?
Not remotely married, so I'm cheating, but I would like "The Way You Look Tonight". The "At Last" ladies picked a great song that lives forever too.
30"When I See You Smile"- Bad English
31Iv'e always wanted By Your side by Sade, The One Who Loves You The Most by Brett Dennen, or Hold You in My Arms Forever by Ray Lamontagne.. And if I could find a version of Broken Road, I would love it. At my boyfriends sisters wedding, her hubby sang that song. it was really pretty!
32You Belong To Me - Patsy Cline was our first dance.. father in law use to write songs for Patsy.. so it meant a lot to him that we danced to one of her songs.. he didn't write that one.. hehe but he still appreciated it.
33We didn't dance to any song because we got married at city hall. But when we hopped in the car to go get married, "Here and Now" by Luther Vandross came on. So I guess that's it. Also, our song was Shania Twain's "You're Still The One".
34talking heads - this must be the place (naive melody)
35I'm not married, but I've always wanted Love Song, the 311 version. Not very "traditional" and slow dance-y, but that's us!
36We danced to "Fools Rush In' by Elvis. It was perfect because we met, got engaged 3 months later and got married on the year anniversary of our first meeting.
37Our song was "Manah Manah" by the Muppetts that blended into a swingy jazzy version of "They all Laughed". It fits us perfectly!
38mine was-- god will make a way by don moen... since the pastor is strict about secular music and all.
but its a really touching song.
39for some reason i thought i was the only one who picked iron and wine, great heights! apparently not
40We danced to "18th Floor Balcony" by Blue October. Its my favorite band and I took hubby to his first Blue concert(and now they are his favorite too) and when their new album came out he was the one that suggested that be our song for our first dance and it was perfect.
41mtx- LOVE Naive Melody!! one of my favs.
Lovely Day, Bill Withers will be our song
42"Into the Mystic" by Van Morrison
43on my wedding video we have lovely day playin when they are showing the place and everyone getting ready
44"Vision Of Love"
45"Memories of Us" by Keith Urban
