I was in my best friend's wedding and had a hair disaster! The owner of the hair salon that I 'had' gone to previously was scheduled to do my hair the morning of the wedding. He pulled a 'no show' (so not cool) and did not even call to explain why he was MIA. With time running out and being a bridesmaid in distress, I let an unknown hair stylist perform her creation on my curly locks. It started with curling my entire head of hair into ringlets which were then pinned up (it wasn't until it was complete that I could see a close resemblance to Dolly Parton - eeks!). Share your worst run-in with a really bad wedding hairdo whether it was on you or someone you know. If you've got the pics, even better!

i was in a hick town and i told the "stylist" (being very generous here) i told he i wanted a sloppy anna nicole\bardot updo and i ended up looking like bette davis in whatever happened to baby jane... disasterous
1I got married in a hick town too. I just wanted my hair straightened with a flat iron, but none of the "salons" (aka "old lady perming parlours") even had one. I had to get it blow dried straight instead, so by the end of the day the ends were curled again and I had my usual poof. The salon was so old that the hair dryer chairs were all different colors and had ashtrays in the arm rests. Ah, I love small towns. I posted pics about three blogs ago.
2I absolutely hated my hair on my wedding day. It's the only thing I'd change. The stylist that did mine was recommended by my mother in law (that should have been a red flag right there) and the stylist refused to do a practice run with me she said she "didn't want me to be disappointed if it didn't turn out the exact same way as the practice run"
3i went to a wedding in a hick town and had my hair done. i had a real hairdresser for my weeddin.... that is insane lay lay.. they didnt wnat to do a practice run
4I think it looks kind of good, team! Maybe a little high, but your hair is so pretty, such a deep color.
5Aww, thanks redegg...that was super sweet of you but really, the hair was so not me!
6awwww team that's so sad! there's nothing worse than crappy hair to ruin your day!
I had a hair disaster once when a hairdresser backcombed my hair into this 1980s-ish poof...all my hair looked like one big piece or something. Kinda like a helmet. I went home from the salon and washed it, diffused it and pinned it up for the event I was going to...grrrr!
7I was going to prom with my b/f and I had to do my hair. It wouldn't hold ANYTHING! So my b/f's mom who was a hair stylist had to help and when she was done. She flat out said I don't like what you did, it is flat and ugly. I cried so much that night
8I think you hair looks awesome
