Last week I asked you to help me help Julie come up with a wonderful wedding favor for her impending nuptials. I'm providing her with plenty of inspirational ideas to ensure she has months of stress-free planning ahead of her. I asked you to search the web for the most creative, memorable wedding favors for Julie. You saved your favors in the Yum Market on TeamSugar and labeled them with the keyword Wedding Favors.
I love the idea of a favor that is actually something your guests can use in their everyday life. Celebrity_soup must feel the same way because she found this chrome (love) letter opener. A letter opener is an item that nobody really buys themselves, but if everyone had one they would use it on a daily basis making it the perfect favor.

Another useful favor was submitted by SU3. Spice packets that come in five fabulous flavors: Thai, herbs de Provence, Indian, Mexican, and Italian. These are fun for the couple who loves to travel and experiment in the kitchen.

SU3 was a super star diva in the wedding favor category and she also discovered these edible favors in the shape of an elegant wedding cake. Everyone loves cookies and your guests will be happy to eat their cookie the moment they see it or savor it at a later date.

1i find it so classy and actually useful!
most wedding favors are small candles or cards that people will just throw away or put in their basements!
a letter opener is always good to have around
I made those cake cookies for my bridesmaids when I asked them to be bridesmaids... except I definitely couldn't fit all the writing on. Those are so cute!
2Personally, I'm not that big of a fan of the wedding favor -- I have a collection of random things I will never, ever use but I feel guilty throwing them out. I think in lieu of traditional favors, I am going to etch everyone's name and table name on a tea light holder and just have those serve as joint escort cards and favors.
Cute!
3I think the spice packets are a great idea! Also like to receive seeds because you can actually put them to use, so perhaps my ideal favor would be seeds of herbs!?
4Very cool!
We gave everyone a personalize bag of M&Ms with Jonathan and Jennifer Hart written on one side!
5I really like the spices idea!
6That's a good idea julie! I agree about the useless wedding favors. I like the idea of etching the guests' name instead of your own name because they'll find better use of it.
7I just posted about our wedding favors! We're getting Hershey's Kisses that have stickers with our picture on the bottom! I am so excited-- we're taking tulle and making little bags of them, as well as kind of sprawling them out on the tables.
8My husband and I went to a tea shop and custom-blended a tea, then had it packaged into beautiful little round tins, and put a "Love is Brewing" sticker on top, with a custom blend sticker on the bottom with brewing instructions!
9That's such a cute idea DC Star!
10We did a CD w/ songs from the wedding and important ones to us. Also we gave each person a thing of M&M's with our name and wedding date on them
