Some may think that selecting the perfect heels for their big day is simple because, in many cases, guests will never see their feetsies. With the new brides choosing dresses with funky fabrics, dramatic hemlines or feet-exposing lengths, it has become more important than ever to find the shoe that not only fits, but the one that complements the dress. After all, don't you want to put your best feet forward in stunning heels? Here are our recommendations.

If you are going to be anywhere near grass do not spend a bundle on your shoes! My sister spent $400 on some beautiful shoes for her wedding and by the time her photos on the lawn were done the shoes were absolutely ruined! The heels slid down into the grass and were covered in mud and there were grass stains all along the base of the shoe. She sent it to a professional cleaner and paid another $100 bucks to try to have them cleaned and they just didn't come out that great.
Knowing this I spent $50 dollars on a pair that were actually really beautiful and didn't care that they were ruined. Nobody really saw them under my dress anyway.
i love the kate spade ones .. plus u could dye them black after the fact and have another fabulous pair of heels
I've posted the shoes I recently bought for my wedding in my Fab Finds - I love them and they weren't outrageously expensive. I also have some other wedding shoes posted earlier in my fab finds when I was searching online for some.
The second and third pairs are gorgeous. I love the bow on the Kate Spade ones.
I love the Kate Spade pair they're soooooo cute....
I really love the Nina Peep shoes, a little silver is perfect and doesn't get dirty nearly as easily as white.
I'm getting married on the beach, so I opted for Pella Moda's "Heavenly." They are a thong sandal with a kitten heel and a bit of muted bling to them. A little over $120.. Gorgeous. Perfect. Check them out!!
I love the Kate Spade ones! However, after wearing my wedding shoes for countless hours on the day of - posing for pics, standing during the 45 minute ceremony, posing for my pics, and then dancing the night away - I am really glad I went for shoes that were cute but mostly comfortable. Even with fairly low heels and comfortable shoes, I had to sit in the bathtub and soak my tired tootsies when we got back to our hotel room. I might just have to get the Kate Spade shoes in another color....
I want those Rene Caovilla they are hot!
I had the same experience as sbgirl...I thought my shoes were comfortable, but the next day my feet were killing me! Comfort is really not overrated when it comes to your wedding shoes, especially if your dress will cover them up.
i really like the kate spade...its simple
Love the first two! I agree, the kate spade is simple, but very cute!
That's a really great reminder as well. I have had my eyes on some gorgeous shoes but I keep forgetting that my wedding is giong to be outside. I think I might end up with chunk heels and then change into a different pair later on.
