I'm so happy for you!!! I'd be happy to get a friday night date, But that doesnt stop me from being obsessed with all things bridal! Just remember in the midst of all the wedding planning... That the wedding is one day and marriage is forever. So no matter how your wedding is concentrate on all the happy years to come!!!!

Congrats girlie! I am getting married next month, and have been engaged since March. I know....most ppl were like "Holy Cow! How can you plan a wedding in 5 months?!?!" I did it....mostly because I didn't feel like waiting and wanted to plan the ultimate summer-end soiree. Really, the only advice I can give is...it is only one day, but do it how YOU want (your mom and his mom will otherwise drive you nuts! LOL). I planned a wedding for 300 guests (all attending, no lie), with sit down dinner, fresh flowers everywhere, a DJ AND a "Sinatra" singer (for my dad and his, ha) in this amount of time......and can tell you I almost felt NO STRESS! So, listen to yourself and do it your way.....and don't forget to HAVE FUN!! WAHOO, congrats again!

Cuppitycake - My nephew got married this past weekend, and they put the whole thing together in 2 1/2 weeks! It was an outdoor ceremony at a country club with the sit down dinner, dj, and everything else. It was absolutely beautiful and perfect. I'm sure yours will be, too!

CuppityCake thanks for your post. I CAN'T believe that you've planned your wedding in 5 months for 300ppl that's crazy. I know it will be beautiful and both sides of our family are so supportive and I won't forget to have fun I have planned to be stress free even if everything goes wrong I'm just happy to marry him.

Fallen85- I hope your wish comes true and you get your proposal soon and I'll get to write on your post : ) He proposed on my birthday at midnight while playing a song I love about called I think "Make A Wish" about it being the woman's birthday and it's her day to make a wish. He gave me a 3 day extravaganza! (celebration). Sunday he took me to the park and barbequed for me because all I wanted for my birthday was dinner. I'm not big on celebrating anymore. On Monday he worked all day then took me out to go have a few drinks and meet up with friends. I had only had 2 drinks because I thought I was just looking forward to going home, opening champagne and cutting my cake. Instead I got way more because that's when he proposed. We're about to graduate from college so we will have a little time to plan the wedding. Thanks for all your posts and yes I am showin' off a lot! I am so happy and I love popsugar because you get to meet sso many ppl going through the same things and get to be all girly and mushy and make posts about how happy you are to be engaged!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So please keep giving me advice and telling me about your engagements.

arabs weddings are so much more different then tradtional!!
however im so excited to incorporate traditional with my arabic cultural!!
