Ok, so I think we found the place we're going to have the reception. It's called the Inn at the Round Barn. Here's a picture of it covered in snow - you'll have to close your eyes and imagine it blooming with flowers and lilac trees.

We love this place. It actually was used as a dairy barn a long time ago, and then they converted it to a beautiful Inn. You have to cross under a covered bridge to get to it (i love that!). It's surrounded by farms in a valley so when you look around you, all you see are gorgeous rolling fields and magnificent mountains.

Everything about this place is sweet and adorable. They even grow some of their own food that they serve at the reception, and they make their own ice cream.

There are 12 rooms at the Inn, and I want just our dear friends and bridal party to be with us. The only thing is that the rooms are NOT CHEAP to begin with, and because we're reserving all 12 rooms, they tack on a 15% service charge to all the rooms, per night. So now they all have to pay an extra $40 a night on an already expensive room.

The Inn is beautiful, don't get me wrong, but I don't think any room is worth $320 a night. And there's a 2-night minimum, so that means our guests will be paying $650 for the weekend.

And this is the ONLY bad thing about having our wedding here, so I guess we can live with it. Ahh!! Don't you think is outrageous? Or is this normal for Inns?
